DALLAS – Today, Genevieve Collins, frontrunner for the Republican nomination in the 32ndCongressional District, officially filed to run in the Republican Primary.
“It has been incredible to see the outpouring of support from across the 32nd District for my candidacy,” said Collins, a local businesswoman and 7th generation Texan. “I am inspired by the diversity, ingenuity, compassion and drive of the people of the 32nd District. I am humbled by the support my candidacy has received and will not stop until we bring conservative leadership back to our congressional district.”
Since announcing her candidacy on July 30th, Collins raised $475,000 in the first 60 days and launched her 32 videos in 32 days for the 32nd District campaign, in which more than 100,000 voters viewed online videos where she shared her beliefs and started a conversation with voters. She continues that conversation daily by travelling the 32nd District and sharing more videos outlining her positions on the issues most important to the voters.
Genevieve continued, “Democrats in Congress, like Colin Allred, continue to play politics instead of doing their jobs. Obstruction, baseless investigations and attacking Republicans seem to be all Washington Democrats stand for. The people of North Texas are eager for real leadership – for someone who will put their needs above partisan politics. I will work everyday to send power back to Texas – The solutions are here in Texas, not in Washington, DC.”
