CONGRESSMAN LANCE GOODEN ENDORSES GENEVIEVE COLLINS FOR CONGRESS

DALLAS – Today, conservative businesswoman and Republican candidate for Congress Genevieve Collins announced she has earned the endorsement of United States Congressman Lance Gooden, who represents Texas' 5th Congressional district. The 5th district neighbors the 32nd district to the southeast.

Congressman Gooden was elected to Congress in 2018. He is a member of the House Committee on Financial Services where he serves as the Vice Ranking Member on the Housing, Community Development, and Insurance Subcommittee. Prior to his election to Congress, he served three terms in the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 4.

“In Congress, I am constantly working to promote our Texas principles of independence, limited government and less regulation. I know what it takes to fight for my constituents, and I know that Genevieve Collins has what it takes to fight for hers when she is elected in November. That is why I am so excited to endorse her candidacy for Congress today,” said Gooden. “Representing your district doesn’t mean talking the talk here in Texas, then going to Washington and voting how you’re told. It means listening to the thoughts and needs of the people whom you serve, then delivering results for them. As the only businesswoman in her race, Republican or Democrat, Genevieve already has a track record of delivering results. I can’t wait for her to join me in Congress, and I look forward to working to ensure she is elected this November."

“My friend Congressman Gooden has served his constituents honorably during his time in Congress, and I am beyond honored to earn his endorsement today. He knows better than most what it takes to fight for our Constitution and our Texas values because he does it every single day. I can’t wait to join him in that fight,” added Collins. “Our campaign is building momentum and energy by the day, and we don’t plan on stopping until we flip the 32nd district on November 3rd.”
