CONSERVATIVE BUSINESSWOMAN GENEVIEVE COLLINS RELEASES FIRST AD OF 2020 CYCLE, “100% TEXAN”

DALLAS – Genevieve Collins, conservative businesswoman and Republican candidate for Congress in Texas’ 32nd district, released her first ad today titled “100% Texan.”

The ad, which is the first from any candidate in the race, features Collins outlining her 7th-generation Texan roots and experience as the only businessperson from either party in the race.

“I am so proud to share my new ad, 100% Texan, with the hardworking taxpayers of the 32nd district today. I am the only businessperson in this race, and I helped grow a Dallas-based company from 36 employees to almost 300. I know what it means to balance a budget and create jobs,” said Collins.

“Much like our nation’s economy, North Texas is booming. Yet radical Democratic policies like Medicare for All, supported by Colin Allred, threaten everything our common sense Texan policies have built. North Texas deserves better. Someone who won’t waste time and taxpayer money on political stunts like impeachment. Someone committed to less government in business and more business in government.”

“In this light, I humbly ask for your prayers and support as I continue my journey of keeping North Texas the shining city on a hill of this great nation. I look forward to seeing you all out on the campaign trail soon.”

Full transcript: I’m Genevieve Collins. I thought I’d share what it means to me to be a hundred percent Texan.

First of all, you gotta be from here. This is the house I grew up in. My family’s been in Texas for seven generations.

My grandmother, Calvert, was actually the first woman ever elected to the Dallas City Council back in 1957. She was remarkable. But more about her another time.

Second, to be a hundred percent Texan, you have to like limited government and lower taxes.  As a small businesswoman, I helped grow a Dallas-based company from 36 employees to almost 300, so I know what it takes to create jobs. And let me tell you… it ain’t socialism.

Third, to be a Texan, this helps…pull!

Finally, and most important, you gotta understand what makes Texas special. The people! And that’s why I’m running for Congress. To serve you. I’m Genevieve Collins and I approve this message, because I’m a hundred percent Texan and always will be.
